Ltm-type 1910 wagon

art. MM004A

The Italian State Railways Ltm 1910 wagon was used to transport coal, but given the presence of side doors it was not precluded from being used for different types of goods. The wagon has a metal load-bearing structure and case filling of wooden staves. Originally there was neither braking system nor air pipeline. Following slight renovations after the war, the air-brake pipeline was added, although it remained without braking organs. Another modification made during that period was the removal of the cover strapping tube and the consequent change of marking from Ltm to L. The period of operation was between the 1910s and the 1960s, with some examples surviving into the 1970s. Despite the long period of operation, they never received the uniform marking, but always retained the Fs Italia marking.

The livery has not received significant changes over the years, with the case in wagon red and the underbody in black.
